Solving an issue for almost all iPhone users

Battery life on iPhones has been a problem for a long time, I'm not saying this is always the case however I have found that many other companies tend to beat Apple in this department. So in this article, I have gathered some of my best tips and tricks for you to increase your battery life and keep the user experience as enjoyable as possible.
1. First, turn off your Bluetooth
It is highly unlikely that you need to have your Bluetooth turned on at all times (unless you are one of those people that keep AirPods in your ears 24/7, in that case, interact more)! So when you're not listening to music or airdropping photos to someone, why not save yourself some battery life? By doing this your iPhone will stop searching for new Bluetooth devices and won't auto-connect to your current devices, so that way you just turn it on when you need it.
2. Or consider aeroplane mode
Enabling this will cut Bluetooth, Wifi, and your cellular connection so if your running really low on battery or in an area with poor reception any-ways, this can help you out a lot.
3. Bye-bye Siri!

More specifically I'm talking about Hey Siri, an iPhone feature that allows you to call Siri using your voice and then ask him to set a timer or add something to your calendar. However, the problem with this is your mic is always on trying to listen for when you next call your little helper unnecessarily draining your battery, and be honest, how often do you actually use this feature? Never in my case, maybe once while I was backing holding something in my hands and even then it took me several attempts for him to even hear me! So definitely consider getting rid of this and you'll see a definite improvement.

4. Reduce your brightness
This seems like an obvious one but the list wouldn't be complete without it! Dimming the display will save you a tone of energy, you can do it from the control centre of from your settings. I also suggested using dark mode which can also help a bit.
5. Set the device to auto-lock

It's quite easy to forget that you left your phone on, sometimes its been on in my pocket for ages! And without auto-lock, it'll stay on for hours wasting tones of battery life. It's very easy to set this feature up, just navigate to Settings > Display & Brightness > Auto-Lock and set the time interval to the minimum available which is 30 seconds for the most benefit. You can always set it a bit higher and it's better than nothing.
6. Limit background app refresh and auto-downloads
Many apps refresh their content even when you aren't using them. Background refresh is certainly convenient, but it's also a drain on battery life. Head to settings > general > Background App Refresh and you can turn background App Refresh off entirely or select which apps you'd like to refresh in the background.
The same goes for auto-update which also uses battery resources. It's very easy to disable this feature and update them manually on the App Store app. To do so, go to Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap the toggle switch to turn off Updates in the Automatic Downloads section.
7. Restrict your notifications
Not only is it incredibly annoying receiving constant notifications on your phone, but it also consumes battery by waking up an otherwise idle phone and turning on its display. So to restrict them go to Settings > Notifications and choose which apps can push notifications your way. You can also shut off notifications on the lock screen.
8. Finally, use low power mode!
Incredibly easy and useful, low power mode disables the following features: email fetch, "Hey Siri," background app refresh, automatic downloads and some visual effects, plus it sets Auto-Lock to 30 seconds. So it disables several of the features I already mentioned but with the press of a button. When your battery hits 20%, iOS will offer to turn it on for you, but you can use it at any time if you want to save some battery.
